A collection of facial ornaments inspired by radical tribal jewellery that aims to combat the

media’s idealisation of beauty and the modern obsession with plastic surgery that pervades in the society. Our creations allow wearers to customise their appearance at will, empowering them through enhancement rather than modification of their natural features.

 

Constructed with 18 carat yellow gold, diamonds and pearls, each piece is uniquely designed with varied structures, scaled accordingly to fit the multitude of facial anatomies of both Asian and

Western societies. Thin gold wire frames highlight the wearer’s delicate features, while diamonds and pearls add an elaborate touch that draws attention to imperfect attributes.

 

The collection hopes to raise awareness about the pressures of today’s beauty standards, by

offering a viable alternative that celebrates individuality and improving existing imperfections.

Each piece of jewellery challenges the wearers insecurities by enhancing their facial features as an act of embracing their flaws.
